I admit that when I downloaded Avery 2 or 3 yrs ago that it took me a few days of frustration of trial and error to figure things out, but after that I was able to navigate easily and it simplified my admin tasks at work greatly. Avery has now improved it's format and apps so almost anyone can immediately benefit from their FREE service. Thanks again Avery!

For something that should be as "easy as pie", I am amazed at how complicated it is to print Ready Index Dividers! The web-site is truly as complicated as anyone can make it. It seems to me that all one needs to enter is the User's version of word (2010 in my case), the product number (11077), Portrait or Landscape mode, a finish button for users who need fewer than the number of sections provided (10 in 11077) and the ability to begin work and print. This would accomodate all dividers which fit the above needs. Likewise, the tabs might need the same information and a reasonable template and finish button. I can't believe that it should be any more difficult than that. The programmer(s) should then be able to filter out non-compatible printers, non-compatible versions of word or other WP programs and perhaps also dividers which are incompatible with this approach (E.g. users who want graphics.) This approach would serve the vast majority of users.

When your own products don't match up

I bought a pack of Avery 8871 business cards and tried to print them with the online template and print tool. The package says use template 8371, which I did, but the print only aligns correctly in the top left blank, all others run off the actual card stock. The only adjustment tool offered only lets you move the entire sheet up or down and right or left. Doing so only moves the 1 correctly printed card to the bottom of the sheet, still wasting 9 of the 10 cards per sheet. I've now wasted 3 sheets (2 printing and 1 to compare plain paper) and have only 2 cards that are right.
Click to chat is promoted as available until 8pm Eastern Time but it's 6pm Pacific Time and it only closes up on me, the 800 number seems only good during Eastern business hours.
Not like Avery is a new company and I've used their products for decades, but you'd think their own dang system would work with their own dang products. It's embarrassing but that's corporate America.

I have known Avery for office labels and address labels for years. Two years ago I discovered Avery for Weddings, my Daughter's... It was really a great idea but a little frustrating when it wouldn't print in the middle of the circle label and the site was a little hard to navigate.
This year my Second Daughter is getting married and we went to Avery for ideas. WOW!! I am now a Label making Queen!! You have made the site easier to navigate and align the printing just right in the labels. Yesterday I even made "Do not Disturb" Hang Tags and Welcome Bags. Today were are making Place cards and Candy Table labels!!!
Also the first daughter that married is having a baby so I'm doing the Baby Shower too!! I've been feeling very creative lately and I know I'm saving lots by doing these things myself.
            Thanks Avery!!!

            Address labels

I have been working on address labels for graduation announcements. I changed the font but it wont stay as I go to the next label. It is taking a lot longer than I expected. I thought that once I changed the first label that the rest would also be changed. The tutorial didn't address any issues such as this.

This review is from Avery Design & Print Online:

I bought the round labels to use on round metal tins. I have been struggling with the layout. It looks perfect on the screen, but the only label that will line up is the one in the center. I read the instructions for adjusting it, but it doesn't make sense if all your labels are not centered. The program should show you how they will look on the actual label page before you hit print. Avery used to be really good with simple labels for shipping and file folders, but product packaging labels and their program suck. They are hugely expensive and very difficult to use. Would be easier to print onto card stock and use a circular punch and glue the paper to my products. Would not buy this again!!
