Misalignment ChromeBook / Chrome

When using DPO with Chromebook / Chrome browser if there is still a misalignment issue after searching articles for other troubleshooting such as:

  • Using the incorrect product template
  • Print test page on regular paper to see if the label sheet is causing misalignment
  • Check project for extra spaces/enters in the text box which may cause misalignment when generating PDF
  • Product may be a print-to-the edge - make sure image is pulled to the 2nd dotted line
  • Uncheck fit to page option on the PDF preview when selecting settings in the Open PDF option
  • Clearing browsing history/updating version of Chrome

Try the following option:
From Step #4 Preview & Print - choose the option to Download PDF - which will save PDF file to your downloads folder. If you have the option at the bottom of the screen to open / save - choose the option to save the file. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader DC - Click on file / open to locate the new PDF file - when printer dialog box pulls up choose Actual Size in settings before printing a test page on regular paper.

In order to open / print projects using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC - go to the Chrome Web Store - search and select "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC" and when prompted - enable the extension in Chrome - When you select Open PDF in Design & Print you should see a pop up from Adobe Acrobat in the upper right and there you can select to Open the PDF in Acrobat Reader to Print
