Avery Introduces a New Category of Tags for Safety and Operations Professionals

Brea, California – June 18, 2021: Avery Industrial, a division of Avery Products Corporation, has introduced highly durable tags for safety and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and convenient prepackaged tags for inspection, maintenance, repairs and operations. Avery safety and LOTO tags  come in printable sheets and print-and-assemble kits that resist pull-force of 50 to 100 pounds.

Designed with safety and operations professionals in mind, Avery safety and LOTO tags are made with durable materials that can be printed on standard laser printers. The “print and go” version tag sheets feature 11 mil polyester engineered to withstand up to 50 lbs. of pull force (meeting OSHA requirements) and lasts up to 2 years outdoors.

The print-and-assemble safety and LOTO tags kit features extremely durable blank tags and printable adhesive outdoor vinyl labels. This option also lasts up to 2 years outdoors, but offers up to 100lbs pull-strength, while still allowing for full customization. Both options are designed to work with standard laser printers.

OSHA and ANSI compliant templates are available for the new line of printable and print-and-assemble tags. With free customizable Avery templates for tags users can choose a design and modify it to suit the specific needs of their facility.

Colwin Chan, Marketing Director, Industrial Business Group, had this to say about building the new tag category around safety and LOTO tags, “Avery Industrial is solution-driven. At our core, we’re problem solvers. We seek out industry professionals and really listen to the challenges they’re facing. Standardized, effective lockout/tagout procedures are so important for protecting employees working with hazardous energy, but there weren’t really any great options out there for printing durable LOTO tags onsite. So we changed that.”

Convenience and flexibility is a key component of the new product lineup for Avery Industrial tagging solutions. In additional to the customizable safety and LOTO tag options, the new line also features vibrant flood-coated manila tags for maintenance, repairs and operations (MRO).
