Labels

By Fritzy

This review is from AVERY What is the best way to print my labels?:

I had trouble with printing labels like others. Solved problem by downloading pdf file with what I wanted. then...1)converted pdf file to work with Microsoft Word using Adobe. 2)Opened in Word, went to printer layout and Left 0, Right 0, Before 0, After 0. Went to Margin and used Custom Top=0.5, Left=0.3, Bottom 0.3, Right=0.3. If using Mail Merge, use Custom Margins to set; I used Top=0.5, Left=1, Bottom-0.12, Right=0.12. Always print on paper first. Hope this helps.

Margin Errors solved

By Jed

This review is from AVERY What is the best way to print my labels?:

Hello everyone,

I was having the same issues as all of you with the 5160 printing labels, but I have found a solution... after burning through 5 sheets...

Using Microsoft Word

Here are my margins.

Top Margin 0.3"
Side Margin 0.3"
Vertical Pitch 1"
Horizontal Pitch 2.75"

Label Height 1"
Label Width 2.63"
Number Across 3
Number Down 10

Pages Size is default

Now I'm not sure if this will solve everyone's problem since printers vary, but I hope this helps all of you. The labels wont be perfect but they'll be usable. Good luck everyone!

I've tried everything to get the labels to lineup. I've tried both the 60 and 30 per page and have wasted a whole pack of each and still do not have labels printed. Its so frustrating! I selected the correct template and tried to print online and offline and still doesn't line up.

Labels to do not up even when you choose the correct product

NO matter what I do, when I choose label 5960 and I try to print labels, it is NEVER lined up. I am taking data from Excel and just trying to print labels. Very frustrating trying to keep changing margins and spaces and it doesn't save the changes. UGH!!!

In the last 2 years I've spend more time trouble shooting inconsistent labels than I do making my products. Tonnes of wasted labels on saved projects that should not vary and these labels are not cheap! I'll be shopping for a different label and printing method.
