The adhesive for our Direct Thermal Labels should be applied at a temperature greater than 30°F, and the adhesive should hold within a range of about -65°F to 200°F. However, the thermal transfer dye will generally discolor (i.e. turn black) at temperatures above 150°F, so a more practical service temperature range for the label construction would be -65°F to 150°F.
