Directions on how to request a return on Walmart.com
1. Go to Walmart.com
2. If you placed your order using your Walmart.com account, continue to step 3, otherwise, skip to step 9 on page 3
3. Click the Account icon (shown inside the red box below) to display the Account Menu
4. When the Account menu displays choose the Sign In option
5. When prompted Sign In to your account using the email address used for your Walmart.com account and your Walmart.com Password (If you do not remember your password click the Forgot password? link and follow the prompts)
6. Once logged into your account select the Account Icon again and this time choose the Account link
7. From the Account page you should see your Purchase History. If Purchase History is not shown by default, select Purchase History from the menu bar on the left.
8. Find the order that contains the item(s) you wish to return and click the Start a Return link then skip to step 13
on page 5. Note: If you do not find the order in your Purchase History try pulling up the order without logging in by opening a Private Browser window, navigate to Walmart.com and continue with step 9.
9. If you placed an order on Walmart.com but did not create a Walmart.com account you will need to have the last 6 digits of your order number and the email address you used when placing the order. Click the Person Icon (shown inside the red box below)
10. When the Account menu displays choose the Track Orders option
11. Enter the email address used when placing the order and the last 6 digits of the order number then click the View Order Status button
12. Your order will be displayed, click the Return or Replace link (red box below) next to any of the items to start the return process. Note: if you placed the order under a Walmart.com account you will be prompted to login when you click the Return or Replace link
13. Select the items you wish to return by clicking the check box above each item.
14. For each item selected, choose a Return Reason from the Drop Down list and if appropriate write any comments in the available comment box for each item.
15. After Selecting and choosing a Reason for return for each item click the Continue button to proceed to the next step.
16. Review the Return Summary Screen where you will see a summary of the items to be returned as well as the credit amount that will be posted back to your payment method.
17. If all the information related to the return is accurate click the Finish button to process the return
18. After clicking Finish you will be provided with a prepaid Return Address Label and Packing Slip
a. Print the Return Address Label and Packing Slip
b. Cut out the Return Address Label
c. Place the Packing Slip and the Items for Return in their original shipping box or similar size box
d. Seal the Shipping Box and Tape the Return Address Label to the Shipping Box
e. Be sure to remove any old Shipping Labels from the outside of the box
f. Deliver the shipping box to UPS, it’s recommended to get a “Drop Off” receipt from UPS for your records
