Design & Print Online can create projects with Western European characters, such as German umlauts (ä, ö, ü…), and other colon (ä, ë, ï, ö, ü, ÿ, Ä, Ë, Ï, Ö, Ü, Ÿ), caret (â, ê, î, ô, û, Â, Ê, Î, Ô, Û), tilde (ã, ñ, õ, Ã, Ñ, Õ) and apostrophe (á, é, í, ó, ú, ý, Á, É, Í, Ó, Ú, Ý) characters. This includes common symbols like Euro and a few others.
The text can be entered using a keyboard that supports international text, or you can copy and paste the information (perhaps using Google Translate) as follows:
- Add a text box to the label or card in Design & Print.
- Copy the information from the outside source using the hot-key Ctrl+C
- Back in Design & Print Online, click on the text box and paste the information using the hot-key Ctrl+V.
Note: International characters are supported best in plain-looking fonts. The more script or unusual a font is, the more likely it is that the special character will be converted to a plain font during processing.
