Demo Video: Insert and Edit Images in Avery Design & Print

Here's how to insert and edit logos, graphics, pictures and other images in Avery Design & Print.

Enter your Avery Product Number

Go to avery.com/templates and start your project by entering your template number. This number can be found on the front of your Avery package and on the label or card sheet.

Select your template and click Start Designing to get started with our free Avery Design & Print Online.

Choose a Design Template

Once you've selected your template, choose from our 1000's of free templates. Use the menu on the left to browse our different design categories.

Customize the Design

You can start with the pre-design template or create your own from scratch with a blank template. If you want to change the design, you can select the images or text and use the Trash Can Icon at the top of the Customize screen.

To add images to your design, select Image and Add Image from the left-side toolbar. Here you can browse for an image saved to your computer, or upload an image from the Avery Gallery or My Account.

To add text to your design, select Text and Add Text Box from the left-side toolbar. You can move the text box by clicking on the edge (until you see a 4-headed arrow) and dragging it to where you want it.

Use the Navigator on the right hand side and choose Edit All to make changes to all your labels, such as changing the overall text style and size. Choose Edit One to make changes to labels one by one.

We recommend starting in Edit All to create your master design for the entire project before switching to Edit One for individual changes. Check out our demo video on the Edit One/Edit All tool here.

Preview & Print

When you're ready to print, click the Preview & Print button at the top right or bottom right of the screen.

Select Print it Yourself to print using your own printer. Choose Let Us Print for You to have your project professionally printed and mailed to you through our Avery WePrint services.

If you select Print it Yourself, click the Get PDF to Print button. You will be prompted to save your design to your online account to access from any device.

After saving, the Printing Tips window will pop up. It is very important to follow the directions very carefully for the best print results. Check out our article on recommended print settings here.
