Step 6: Ideas for Using Cards

When they’re just getting started, your kids might want to go door-to-door (with you or a buddy) to introduce themselves and their services to the people in the neighborhood. Be sure they to bring a stack of cards to hand out to those who are interested.

Another idea is to use the card to advertise a discount. They can offer a lower price to the customer for their first walk, push business on a slow weekend with a special, or offer a friends and family discount for referral business.

The cards can also work as loyalty cards for frequent customers. For example, if they hire your kid for 9 walks, your child might offer the 10th walk free.

It’s easy to create and print new cards with Avery—you can design and print as many cards as you need, when you need it.
