Q: Where can I find Avery pre-set templates in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect?
Formatting Tips for Microsoft Word, Word 6.0, Word 7.0, and Word 97 for Windows 95/98.
- From the Tools menu, select Envelopes and Labels.
- If Labels is not already selected, click on the Labels tab and choose Options.
- Highlight the Avery product you are using and click OK.
- For single labels, or for a full sheet with the same information on each label, type in the text and click New Document.
- To create a blank sheet and type your information directly onto each label, click on New Document and type in the text.
- To use a merge file to create mailing labels, select Mail Merge from the Tools menu.
- Print as usual. Note: If Gridlines do not appear after selecting New Document, select Show Gridlines from the Table menu.
Formatting Tips for WordPerfect Versions 6.0, 6.1, 7.0, and 8.0 for Windows.
- Choose Labels from the Layout menu (version 6.0) or Format menu(versions 6.1, 7.0, and 8.0).
- Scroll down and highlight the Avery product you are using. Then click Select.
- Type in your information or merge fields. Press Ctrl+Enter to go to the next label.
- Print as a Full Document. Note: If you wish to use a merge file, consult your WordPerfect manual for instructions.
