Who uses Word for these things nowadays...

At least make it a Publisher template... InDesign preferred, but Publisher is livable.

How can a template work fine one day, and then not the next?

By Julie

from Salt Lake City, Utah

Verified Reviewer

This review is from AVERY Place Cards, 6 per sheet:

I used this template to print half of my wedding escort cards - worked fine. Then I came back to print the rest, and now it's bumping all the names way down the page - none of them align. I tried redownloading the template, but same issue. I didn't make any changes in Word other than swapping out names, so I'm baffled how it could work one minute and then not the next. I guess I have no choice but to design my own template. Could you provide the margins and gutter measurements?

Seriously? A template for printing from a graphic design element & you don't at least have a pdf version of your template to download?

Unusable - only 1 star because couldn't make it zero

This is unusable garbage when downloaded.
The product number isn't available in Word so I came to this site to get the template. All the formatting it messed up so I can't even fix it to use it.
Get it together Avery. I bought this product because typically the template is available in Word and works reasonably well. Not the case here.

      Why the template doesn't work...

      By Gumby

      from Danbury, CT

This review is from AVERY Place Cards, 6 per sheet:

Maybe someone can fix this... if you are printing a place card for, say, a wedding... where the person's name is on the front and their table number on the inside... of course the template won't work because it is not vertically centered. The top margin is considerable larger than the bottom... great for printing on the outside. In order to print on the inside, you need to flip the page AND turn it upside down before putting it in the printer. So either you have to mange to create an upside down version of the template in Word... or figure out how to type upside down text in Word. Am I the only one who is using it in this fashion, and who noticed this?

      Worked once only

Worked perfectly on Friday. On Monday, could not get it lined up. Gridlines appear about an inch lower than on Friday. What is the problem?
