I just want to say this template worked very well for me. I am using an ancient copy of Photoshop and I was worried it might not be compatible. But this works so well. The guide is on its own layer. You just paste your graphics beneath the guide layer. I then export it as PDF. The printed labels look EXACTLY like what I saw on Photoshop.

I tried to use the Word template at first but there is no way you can put the pictures in where they are supposed to be at all? That one was not helpful.

Every time I attempt to use a simple template for a label, Avery makes navigation, downloading, and text development extremely difficult. Where are the Word templates that are touted? Why zipped files? Why missing download buttons? The whole process to download and use a template is extremely time consuming and usually not successful. I tried this 15 months ago and it was frustrating. I came back today for another task and nothing has changed! I do not recommend Avery.

So I was very afraid to use this after reading a number of negative reviews, but I bought the labels and so I had to figure it out! Downloading the template into Photoshop was easy, the trickier part was figuring out Photoshop Elements! Once I had the template it was just a matter of making sure the paper was the right size! Be SURE to put the actual paper size of 8 1/2 x 11 and everything should. I know this because at first I put regular print, then 8x10 (my bad). Once I got the paper size correct it was great and printed perfectly.

      Bad product.

This is a template! It is supposed to work. I have wasted paper and ink trying and trying to line up within the boundary of the template. I have tried other printers, no success. This template is a waste of time and money. DO NOT BUY. You will be throwing your money away.

          Using an iMac (OSX.10.5) & Laser printer (Ricoh C830DN) - with Photoshop CS6 13.0.6
Everything lined up very close. Boarders set at .17", and that was pretty much it. I did test print test page with a outlined test image - ALWAY test rather than use up ink/toner - and only minor adjustment needed. So mark edges on image, print to regular paper. Print and put up to the label paper in the light and look at the alignment. Simple as that.
Does not take a rocket engineer to figure it out.
          Label used - 5692 - Thanks Avery

Useless - does not line up labels

          By Ted

This review is from AVERY CD/DVD Labels, 2 per sheet plus 4 spine labels:

This template does not align with label when printing from Photoshop on a Mac. The Word *.doc template DOES align, but who wants to try to layout graphics in Word? It seems that it should not be very challenging to pay someone for an hours work to confirm that a *.PSD template does what it is supposed to do.

Doesn't line up with word or photoshop when printed. Thanks for wasting a lot of my paper and ink Avery.Your product complacency due to lack of other market options is appalling.
