What the HEY Happened?

Pros

    Cons

    • Hard To Install or Upgrade

This review is from AVERY CD/DVD Jewel Case Front & Tray Inserts:

I truly don't know whatever the heck happened to Avery when they put this template into the system for download. I have successfully downloaded other templates from Avery with great results - but this was solely a sorry EXCUSE and disapointment. I don't know why this should be any different - I plan to return the product tomorrow to the place of purchase. I'm sorry for having to write this about what should be a great product

Good Idea, Not Well Thought Out

      By Bummed Out Guy

      • Easy To Navigate

      Cons

      • Not Well Designed
      • Not What It Could Be

        Pros: The inserts fit.
        Cons: Only one spine label
The spine label is on the wrong side,
if you store your CDs with the hinge-side out - (showing clear plastic, instead of album title).
Had to cut and tape the second (outside) spine.

Avery should add a second, outside spine label.

Does not run properly on Win 10

This review is from AVERY CD/DVD Jewel Case Front & Tray Inserts:

I burned through a fortune in ink trying to get this software to use multiple images on a CD case cover. It shows all 4 images, correctly placed and aligned in preview. When I print only 2 images appear, one image is repeated 3 times, once where it supposed to be, in two other places where it was never placed. I don't need software that 1) won't do as it's told, 2) lies about what it has done, and 3) has a mind of its own about what it really wants to do. Totally bloody useless.

I guess you get what you pay for. I'll move on to something that works, thank you.

            Great Guides

I've used these 8693 jewel case templates for about 7 years. They really help to keep me organized and help me to find the media items I could lose quickly if I did not use them.
I used to record lots of CDs but now I use them to list MP3s so I can find them on the disk. The various styles or color combinations available for my use help me to differentiate the various cases. The variety of print sizes and fonts allow me to be creative enough ,even using imported photos.

A lifesaver for frazzled library staff

It's amazing the number of things that patrons can do to CD booklets and liners! And when something comes back without the booklet or with the booklet damaged beyond all recognition, this template helps me create replacements that fit without resorting to a lot of cutting and pasting.
