Defective!

The words "CD/DVD Title" will not disappear. You can't make your own title to cover it up.

Disappointed in Avery

By Terri

from Georgia

This review is from AVERY Beige Design CD/DVD Labels, 2 per sheet plus 4 spine labels:

Over the years, I've always been able to count on Avery for their quality products and services. Today, I must admit I am highly disappointed in the CD/DVD on template that Avery offered to their customers that I am most certain by now you are aware that it does not work. People have complained about it and no action to resolve this issue has been made. To present something to someone as reliable when it's not makes frastruating customers. These are the types of things that drive other organizations to come up with ideas to overtake the competition who has lost respect for the community of service. Best wishes to all of you who are in need of a solution for a CD/DVD template. If you find one, please let the rest of us know so we could stop wasting our value time and efforts which leads to no where.

Make sure you select "Template Only" or "....with Toolbar"

I was trying to download a Word Document template for my labels and each time I clicked "Download Template" it downloaded an .exe file which is not what I wanted.

Then, I noticed there are two radio buttons above the download button which gives you the option to select just the template (.doc file) or the toolbar (.exe). It defaults to downloading the .exe file so if you just want the template, you have to make the appropriate selection. I recommend they have two separate download buttons for greater clarity.

Anyway, I finaly have the Word Document template and it seems to work well on my Macintosh.

Best I've tried

By SassySally

This review is from AVERY Beige Design CD/DVD Labels, 2 per sheet plus 4 spine labels:

I work with a lot of graphic files, artwork, designs, etc. and it saves me a LOT of time if I can just flip through the DVD's and see the pics. This is the BEST label I have tried for allowing you to insert your own Graphics on the cover!!! Super easy, just save your graphic as a JPEG, Gif, Etc. (I use JPEG) format this will allow you to get the round disk shape in word. Overlay it over your title, send it to the back.......your'e done. Did 4 in less than 10 mins. Thanks for finally a label that works so great!!
