I used flourescent labels for labeling my moving boxes. I printed labels such as FRAGILE, GLASS ITEMS, DO NOT STACK, KITCHEN, MSTR BDRM, etc. I printed lots of FRAGILE labels so I could place them on all sides of the 'fragile' boxes and they could easily be seen.

I also used small blank labels (all the same color) and wrapped them over the top edge to the front side of the boxes. This makes it easy to determine which side is the front (labeled side) of the box when moving and stacking them (without having to search for which side to have facing out). This is much faster than writing or using tape to mark the front side.

There are endless ways to utilize Avery labels. They are quick, clean and easy to use. If you need a template, they are easy to access online.

First of all it took FOREVER to find the specific templates I was looking for. I wanted plain templates numbered 5162 and 5195. I got pages of all sorts of fancy stuff. I cannot actually tell you how I finally stumbled on them. I KNOW I did not use the same path for both. Once in the template it was difficult to copy and paste common things from one cell to another. It was impossible to copy all the information from one template to the other; so I had to copy and paste each entry. Sheesh. I've been spending the better part of all day working on this . . . and I still have the other side of the family to do. Sometimes the old Keep It Simple, Sweetie is really the best. Simple should be easy to find and the more complicated AFTER that. Would I recommend? Absolutely not. I think I will just build table in word next time. A time saver, this was NOT it!!!

TERRIBLE PRODUCT

Pros

    Cons

    • Hard To Install or Upgrade
    • Hard To Navigate
    • Not Powerful Enough

    Best Uses

This review is from AVERY Address Label, 14 per sheet:

It's 2017 and Avery claims an easy-to-use template online but this is so frustrating and uneasy to use. False claims by Avery. Bad template. Don't buy this. Read the other reviews--no one likes it. Please quit, Avery, and stop wasting consumers' time!

        Best Uses

This review is from AVERY Address Label, 14 per sheet:

I found this Address Label Template 5162 easy to use I just centered typed in the address copied to each label. Only thing is when I tried to paste I had to make sure to hit center before I paste otherwise it was great to use. Thank you for making a product worth buying.

          Frustration complete

          • Easy To Navigate

          Cons

          • Crashes or Freezes
          • The Format Kept Changing

          Best Uses

This review is from AVERY Address Label, 14 per sheet:

The format would not remain stable. It would not allow me to cut and paste in normal manner. It would change commands/prompts with almost every attempt to cut and paste. It was as if they wanted me to quit in frustration and order the darn products (full pre printed) from them. I will not recommend this to anyone. Just pull your hair out for kicks instead of purchasing these lables and using the downloads!

Not my first issue with Avery products

This review is from AVERY Address Label, 14 per sheet:

The templates do NOT work in Adobe Photoshop as advertised, only MS Word, where design limitations are nil except basic text. I am trying to make labels for a product, with graphics and decorative text. The website program works fine for this but does not line up with the labels for printing. I have wasted an entire day trying every option and help tool available and still doesn't work. I had this same issue with the Avery business cards last year. I will never buy Avery products again!

Downloaded this and it downloads as Works instead of Word, which is bad enough but then it doesn't load all the label spots... guh! Frustrating!!
