How to Use Templates
We have created templates to help you format your Avery products using Microsoft® Word, Adobe® Illustrator®, Adobe® InDesign® and Adobe® Photoshop.

If you do not have any of these programs, use Avery Design & Print Online.

After you download your Avery template, be sure to remember where you saved the file on your computer and the file name.

Open Microsoft® Word or an Adobe® program for your template and select File > Open to navigate to the drive and folder to open your template.

Use the program’s formatting and printing features to edit and save your template.

Get Adobe Flash player

Tip: For Microsoft® Word users – If the template looks like a blank page, select Table > Show Gridlines to view the template layout. For detailed instructions on Microsoft® Word templates, click here.

Thank you for using Avery templates!

Products are great, should be able to order quickly, If I find something on 1 page, I get lost if trying to get back to it after looking for the appropriate template. Why isn't there an easy direct link? Why do I have to spend time wandering around?
The whole experience makes me not want to shop on your site.
Sorry.

I would love to use these templates for my christmas Cards but I cannot find the directions on how to make them work. Avery needs to provide more detailed instructions on how to use them for both mail merges and single labels (such as return addresses). I consider myself a very good user of word/excel, etc but cant for the life of me figure this out.... I am going to just print on blank labels this year. Too bad as product looks promising!

This review is from AVERY How to Use Templates:

I just watched the video on how to use templates from Avery. I would say that it was helpful but that the process of using the template's in word is something that one would need to practice with. Watching the video is not enough to be able to go and use the templates.

I enjoy using these templates for my Christmas card labels, however I have trouble replicating and manipulating the design on each label for different recipients.
