I started by downloading the template and creating it exactly how I wanted it. Then when I printed it out, I found that the printing didn't fit the template page AT ALL. It was only then that I read a few reviews and found many other people had this problem. I decided NOT to try messing with margins in Microsoft Word. Instead I clicked on "How to Use Templates" as some other reviews suggested (it is under the download button). Then click on "Avery Design and Print Online". Enter the product number again. Click on "Style Edge Dividers" and follow the very user-friendly steps to create your tabs. I definitely suggest saving to your Avery Account instead of your computer. I had to do NO adjusting whatsoever to get my printed labels to line up with the template paper. It was so easy and quick! They definitely need to work on the quality of their downloadable templates (hence the 4 stars for ease of use), but the online Design and Print center was fantastic!

I usually don't have problems with downloading Avery templates and using them on Microsoft Word. In fact, I've used the template for the larger style of these dividers without any issues. I have tried printing these tabs several times and the center of the Word document labels are offset to the left of the actual printed version. Each individual cell is also apparently not as tall as they should be, as the labels creep up with each row. The result is one usable label (the top left), and the rest printing off the labels. Please don't use this template, or at least make sure you have a lot of paper on hand for trial prints before attempting to use the cardstock version.

HORRIBLE - The Worst dividers made by Avery!

Who's genius idea was it to make round tear-outs for the labels? Who has time to hand work these little rounded tabs that are difficult to work with? They might look fancy and pretty, but a real pain. Never will purchase these again, ever.

I saw some of the reviews and thought this was not going to be fun but in less than 5 minutes from start to finish I downloaded the template for my tabs, printed and done....GOOD STUFF! I wish all websites were this easy.

          What am I doing wrong?

Love these dividers. Is there any way to get the outline of the labels to print so I can use regular paper and cut them out?? I've tried changing the format of the shapes, but no matter what I do, they don't print.

This review is from AVERY Style Edge Dividers, 8 Tab:

Great looking product. Plastic dividers are good. Label printing does not show when pages are in notebook. Printing is too low and I had to trim every one of a 40 divider setup. Rather frustrating. Also, I could not save each page as I typed in titles but had to close it down and reopen template to start each new page.
