After testing several iron ons last year, I found that Avery's products worked best and held up best out of similar competitor products. I've used these on several projects now, and they always come out great. I used the light version to make t-shirts for our family vacation last year and they are still holding up great. This year I tried the dark version on colored t-shirts and thankfully Jerzees has a full listing of the RGB colors of their shirts on their website, so matching up the background color was a breeze. These came out even better than I had hoped, and everyone in my family loved them.

I also used them on scuba (foam rubber) koozies for a Father's Day Gift, it took several attempts to get it right, but by turning the iron down to the polyester setting and only ironing them for 10 seconds at a time they came out great. Any longer or hotter and the pattern came through the transfer. They will also work on neoprene koozies with similar settings/timing.

I purchased both the light and the dark transfers followed the instructions to a "T". I did not have any problems with transferring the items, I washed them as instructed and when the t-shirts were worn for the first time the graphics and transfer itself cracked and started pealing off on the first wear. So now I ve wasted over $70.00 between transfers, t-shirts, ink and over 10 hours for a non profit organization. Will never buy again, total waste of money. Avery has some great products but this is not one of them!

      t-shirt transfer

This review is from AVERY Dark T-Shirt Transfer:

This product was a big waste of money. Half of the transfer stuck to the shirt, half wouldn't bond at all. The paper stuck to the transfers in places and could NOT be pealed off. I had many small things that I had printed on 1 sheet. I cut them apart and tried again and again with NO good results. Not 1 picture came out the way it was supposed to. I tried a second sheet and had a friend read the directions and try to iron the transfer on. I told her nothing of how my attempts turned out, I just passed her the transfer and the fabric and asked her to try it. Her results were exactly like mine. Out of 24 small pictures, NOT ONE WORKED the way it was supposed to. I tried 12 times, Suzie tried 12 times. I won't buy this product again

It was a little hard to figure out just how to use these transfers. I did waste some of the sheets on trial and error. Once I got going in the right direction, though, it worked very well and was quite fun. I used them to commemorate a family vacation and my sisters LOVED them!
