This review is from AVERY Autumn Colors Recipe Cards on Index Cards, 3 per sheet:

The majority of all recipes begin with a list of ingredients. Logically, that list comes first or at the top of the recipe. In the case of a small 3x5 in. card, it would be placed on the LEFT SIDE. The process or procedure for combining the ingredients would be on the RIGHT SIDE because we (English speaking countries) read from left to right! The title or name of the recipe belongs at the top--having room for the type of recipe (entree, dessert, etc.) would be nice. Forget the drawn lines--that's for hand written cards--just identify areas: ingredients, etc. Many recipes will require using the backside of the card. In the case of many ingredients, allow for that list to be on the frontside and process on the backside. Why not have someone who uses recipes and cooks design this project; currently that does NOT seem to be the case.
