Rotation Feature disabled?

By chakatania

from LA, CA

This review is from AVERY Quarter-Fold Greeting Card - Tall:

This almost worked. I used an "insert text box" feature hoping to rotate it and after rotating it to what should have been "upside down" Word somehow let me rotate the box but not the text inside. Argh! Wasted my time.

Guess you get what you pay for........"free".

Wast of time

By Bill with a MAC

This review is from AVERY Quarter-Fold Greeting Card - Tall:

With a quarter fold some object must be upside down. This template would not allow it. A big waste of time.

Disappointing

By Rusty

Pros

  • None

Cons

  • Useless

Best Uses

  • None

This review is from AVERY Quarter-Fold Greeting Card - Tall:

All it does is divide the page into four and format the text. Insert an image, insert your text and print then fold - and guess what? It's no different to inserting in Word - the image (or the text) is upside down.

A 'template' should put the objects in the right place AND with the right orientation. Waste of time, paper and ink. Shame, Avery, shame!

I just don't get Avery

By BeeLine

from mid-Atlantic states

This review is from AVERY Quarter-Fold Greeting Card - Tall:

Years ago when I learned Word Perfect, things were What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (whiz-e-wig). Working with labels was fantastic. I can't understand, after all the years Avery labels has been in business, that they can't accomplish a Word Perfect environment of WYSIWYG. Avery is so frustrating! I should be able to just click on the template where I want text to begin and start typing; then fine-tune the alignment, font, etc afterward.

No instructions and no rotation so it doesn't work

By Frustrated

from Ontario, Canada

Pros

  • It Divides A Page Into 4

Cons

  • It Doesn't Create A Card
  • It Doesn't Label Quadrant
  • It Doesn't Rotate
  • It Doesn't Say How To Use
  • No instructions

Best Uses

This review is from AVERY Quarter-Fold Greeting Card - Tall:

The site says instructions should download with the software. They didn't. By itself, there is no way to tell how to design with the software. I guessed, was wrong and couldn't see it until I printed because there is no way to preview it 3D in Word. I wasted my coloured ink and my time. There is no way to easily move the content of quadrants or rotate them so I cannot see how to make a quarter-folding card. This does not work.

Please include instructions when you say you will AND make them obviously findable on your site where the software is.
