Great Product but your printer may be a problem.

I used this template with #8873 business cards, and the template is correctly done. It's a great way to get a small quantity of business cards without breaking the bank.

I used this template with #8873 business cards, and the template is correctly done. It's a great way to get a small quantity of business cards without breaking the bank.

But, if your printer is a piece of junk like my HP, it may not like card stock and the cards will shift down as they are printed on the page. This is NOT Avery's fault.

To fix the problem I had to shift the bottom cards down 1/4-inch and distribute the center three rows of cards to match. Then all was good, EXCEPT the bottom cards have the text cut off, and have to be discarded. Again, this is NOT Avery's fault. It's the printer's fault.

Printers that have a straight-through paper path probably won't have this problem.

So, here's what to expect: If your printer has issues you will waste the first one or two sheets (or more) in the package to get your cards to print correctly, and you may have to live with only getting 8 good cards per sheet. Still, in my opinion it's a good way to make business cards and even having to toss 20% because your printer doesn't like card stock isn't a big deal.

If your printer handles card stock well, then you are golden and shouldn't need to adjust anything.

Good luck & happy printing!

I am a graphic designer and needed quick temporary cards. Each card of the 28878 Business Card paper was off from the template by different measurements, usually .1 cm, which doesn't sound like much, but is easily noticeable. I don't know if I got a poorly cut pack, but this seems unnecessary to adjust each card manually, and still be off slightly. I have tried using both illustrator and indesign templates

Until now, I have always used Avery products and templates. 8877 template doesn't work with Win10 and Word 2016. Can't even change to compatible mode. It seems to only want Adobe. Which I don't feel the need to buy for only one item. Not happy.
