I was in the process of upgrading my printer, I decided to go and find a printer that would not only support windows 10, but also print on the new printable CD/DVD's.

After purchasing The Epson XP-820 ALL-IN-ONE Printer earlier last year, I finally was able to try out the return address labels that had already been saved by my Microsoft Word 2013.

After an hour of no success on trying everything that I could to get this printer to print the Avery 8167 template, I decided to call the Avery Tech Support. After talking to someone who knew very little English and being patient with him putting me on hold every couple of minutes, he finally comes back on the phone and gives me a bogus answer that some of these printers MIGHT NOT SUPPORT printing out templates.

So, After going to Avery.com and finding that I'm able to Download Generic Templates and then after copying and pasting ALL cells from the address label 8167 to the compatible template, everything worked wonderful.

I have a Win10 computer and use Office 365. I cannot get rid of this horrible software without doing a clean restore of Win8.1 first. I am serious. This is the worst thing in the non-virus category that I have ever made the mistake of downloading. It will not work unless I choose to force my computer to accept a Win7 clean install.

AVERY WIZARD COME BACK

By rdt

from Corona, CA

Pros

  • Fast and Powerful

Cons

    Best Uses

This review is from Avery Wizard for Microsoft® Office:

Why on earth would you discontinue the AVERY WIZARD which is not compatiable with Office 10 or the new Microsoft Word. It has been a simple, fast, easy way to print a variety of labels for years. I really miss it.

      Avery Templates are Terrible

      By A-very Annoyed Customer

      from Washington, DC

      Pros

      • Easy To Install Addons

      Cons

      • Does Not Print
      • Poor Design

      Best Uses

      • Trash

This review is from Avery Wizard for Microsoft® Office:

These templates are a waste of time. It took me hours just to get a simple label to print correctly. I had to minutely adjust margins to get the templates to line up with the labels.

Been a solid product for MANY MANY YEARS. sorry to see it go. If you have newer office it will work and templates are seen. Would like to see this product get incorporated to one main strema product. Don't retire it, MAKE IT BETTER !
