Step 1: Create a List

Instructions: On your computer, create a master supply list of items frequently ordered.

Step 2: Develop a System

Instructions: Develop a system using color coded dots to organize items by priority, different divisions or staff members who need those supplies. Place dots next to the items required.

Step 3: Keep List Handy

Instructions: Place the supply list in a plastic sleeve until the order is placed. Extra color coded dots can also be placed in the sleeve in case items or priorities need to be added to the supply order.

I used colored dots at our family reunion last year to designate which branch a family member belonged to. Each family had been assigned a different color, so you knew at a glance which branch the family member or guest belonged to.
