STORAGE ID

I use these labels to mark shoe and clothing containers in my closet to identify contents. I also use them on storage containers to identify contents in my bathroom closet and my garage.

If you bought and didn't know they were handwrite only...

This review is from Multi-Purpose Labels 6117:

If you were like me and bought these thinking you would be able to print on them I have an idea for you.

Look at the images posted with this review.

1. create 4-6 tables on word with 3 rows and 1 column
2. Set the rows to be 1 inch. Set the Columns to be 3 inches.
3. Make sure that the font you choose does not change these settings
4. With the borders still there, fill out what you would want to print on each label
5. Print- This is your template (you may need more than a few copies because you will be taping the labels to the printer paper, and it may rip the paper when you try to take it off)
6. Place the labels CAREFULLY over the printed sheet with guidelines
7. Go to your document--> Table Design--> No Borders *Do this for each table
8. Print.
9. Repeat

Definitely not Permanent

Pros

    Cons

    • Doesn't Stick

    Best Uses

This review is from Permanent Multipurpose Labels 6570:

I read these were a good size for lip balms and they are -- they fit perfectly on a typical .15 oz tube. The problem is the darn label DOES NOT STICK! Give it less than an hour and each end is curling back up. The package shows it sticking to a binder and that material is similar -- kind of a plastic/vinyl and it apparently can stick to that. Put it on something cylindrical and it cannot handle it. C'mon, Avery, this is your fabulous glue?

Hate logging in to get templates

      Pros

      • Ease of use

      Cons

      • Pricey / Poor Value

      Best Uses

This review is from Permanent Multipurpose Labels 6572:

I hate that I have to log in to Avery just to get a darn template. I don't want to sign in and get additional marketing just to simply use the product that I have to pay for.
