These 5366 Avery File Folder Labels are some of the best I've ever used. They are easy to use and format, easy to print, don't tend to smear even with bold fonts, and have been a great assett to me and have helped me a great deal in keeping organization amongst the three home-based businesses that my spouse and I run! The only suggestion I have for Avery is to offer these labels with perforations to enable the use of a half-page instead whole page when necessary. Labels with borders, colors, or designs/business coding, would also be additional benefits to have!

As a devoted Avery products enthusiast, it was painful to experience the lack of adhesion on labels with TrueBlock technology. My co-workers and I were so thankful to have a file folder label that would allow us to re-use file folders. However, the label with TrueBlock does not stick to the file folder tab of any manila folder. To open a file drawer and find labels missing is an organizer's nightmare.

We have experimented on new file folders and the adhesion is no better. We have ensured that the sheet of labels only runs through the laser printer once; labels will not stick to the file folder tab. The back of the label becomes a dark gray after printing on a standard desktop laser printer.

We don't know what else to do. I ordered another 750-count pack under a product description of "permanent file folder labels" but received the TrueBlock variety again. Please tell me there is a remedy for this problem!

These do NOT stick

By Sassy

from Fairview, NC

This review is from Avery Permanent White File Folder Labels, 25 sheets, 30 up,750 Total 8366:

I have worked in offices for over 35 years and have always purchased Avery file folder labels. Until this past year I have never experienced file folder labels that would not stick! Avery thought I had a bad batch so they sent me a new box - they were just as bad as the first ones. I called back and was sent file folder label #8593 with sticker on the front that says "Ultrahold Adhesive Sticks to More Surfaces" and they DO stick. Avery - please recall all these labels that do not stick and replace with the "Ultrahold Adhesive". They are not easy to find.

trouble inserting in folders

This review is from Top View Hanging File Tabs 1/5 Cut 5568:

I recently bough the top view labels and the creases are hard to bend to get a good view from the top and had lots of trouble inserting them into the folders causing the labels to be wrinkled and made it hard to read the labels.

Best Recycle Helper!

By ARenee

This review is from Avery Laser/Ink Jet Filing Labels (30 Labels per Sheet), 5 sheets per pack 8478:

File folder labels with True Block Technology are the best file folder labels I've used and I love that they help me recycle folders over and over! Why throw away a perfectly useable file folder when you can use it again with an Avery File Folder Label?
