Well, seeing a pattern here?

Had I known the difficulty of getting a working template, I'd not have bought these Avery labels. I wish very much that I'd come here first and seen all of the horrible reviews. What sort of company does this? I mean, with all the ridiculously negative reviews, you'd think they would make some small effort to fix this situation. Nope. Just not terribly important to them, I guess.

Well, forget about getting these templates to work. Mine downloaded and then unzipped into a "ai" file. What's an ai file? WORD wouldn't open it.

Honestly, this is just pathetic and comical.

For those of you in the same boat, go to Uline, and search for a similar template. Unlike the geniuses at Avery, their templates are doc files. Easy to download, open, and use.

It's not a huge and dramatic leap of outstanding costumer service....to simply have templates that work, and are simple to use.

You fail, Avery. Never again.

ABANDON HOPE ALL YE WHO TRY TO PRINT POSTCARDS!

By FRUSTRATED IN LITTLE ROCK

from LITTLE ROCK AR

This review is from How to Find an Avery Template for Microsoft Word:

I'VE RARELY BEEN SO FRUSTRATED WITH TEMPLATES. I'VE BEEN TRYING FOR ALMOST AN HOUR TO FORMAT A POSTCARD 3380 USING A TEMPLATE. I CAN'T CUT AND PASTE FROM WORD. WHEN I TYPE NEW TEXT IT DEFAULTS TO ARIAL 20 EVEN WHEN I SELECT A SMALLER FONT. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE.

I spent hours trying to format labels for wedding invitations. I kept having the same problem. The text would resize to the text box, but it would cut off the end of my text. I used the chat now feature, and after over an hour of waiting, someone came on and told me to reduce the size to over half it's original size to show half a letter. REALLY?? That's your solution? How about fixing your piece of junk system!

The row limit (#5160) you set is too short, so the adress, e-mail, website, etc can not make one line , although there is a lot of space on the right. Tell me how to fix it. In the past, it worked well but now it changed.

Don't blame windows 10 or any windows. I used these labels years ago, with XP, and they printed well with the template that were supplied THEN. Now (still with XP), there is no template that I could find, making the labels MORE worthless. I say more, because they don't stick to anything, then OR now. I've always had to tape them on.
