How do you adjust alignment for printing?

By NeuseStory

from New Bern, NC

Pros

  • Good Value

Cons

    Best Uses

This review is from How to Format an Avery Template for Microsoft Word:

Help! Easily laid out a design well within the guidelines of the template. Ran it through a printer 3 times. Each time, it started printing to far in to the top margin, and the rest of the cards were not aligned within each perforation. I see no instructions on the web site on how to adjust alignment for printing/printers. A useful product--if I could get it to work without wasting sheet after sheet.

      Seems Antiquated

      By A Texan

      from Fort Worth

      Pros

      • Good Variety

      Cons

      • Poor Technology

      Best Uses

This review is from How to Format an Avery Template for Microsoft Word:

Seems very weird the user would have to cut-and-paste labels to fill a whole page the same. There should be an auto-function for that. And when labels are different, there should be a function to sort them alphabetically. And on notecards, there should be something simple for turning type sideways for printing vertically. The templates have outdated technology (or no technology).

Trying to make this years files. The top part print well but the last 5 on either side are to low and partially on the next label. I can't afford to waste the labels and I can't even adjust to raise what needs to print. This really sucks. I can't find any instructions on how to adjust the print line.

          Need Margin And Paper Settings

The How-To needs to tell me how to set Margins and Printer Paper Size. Without that, Word will most likely not print correctly.
              Need something simple like:
Set Margins: Tell me with Word language
Paper Size: Again, use language that appears in
              Word
              Thanks
