Quick Tips for Printing

Printer Settings
For best results from your inkjet or laser printer, make sure your printer properties are set to “label” or “heavyweight” in the print dialog box.

Check Alignment
Before printing your project, we suggest doing a test run using a plain sheet of paper to check alignment before printing on your Avery product. For more information, see our formatting and printing tips.

If your printer is not aligning correctly, you may need to visit the printer manufacturer’s website and download the latest printer driver. You may also need to adjust the alignment of your project. If you are using Avery Design & Print Online, follow the special instructions for Firefox and Chrome browsers. Avery Design & Print includes a “Print Adjustment” option on the Preview & Print page to help reposition your project. In other programs, you may need to click and drag to shift the columns or use the ruler feature.

This site is difficult to use, at best. My labels print off center no matter what adjustments I try to make. Wasteful and frustrating!
