I wasted hours trying to properly align my label sheets. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get them to print out correctly.

Until....I read another reviewer who said to use CHROME browser instead of Firefox or any other browser. Once I used CHROME, it worked perfectly the first time. So thank you, to that reviewer because I was just about to throw in the towel and give up on my whole project.

Also, for anyone who wants to create labels or business cards with different texts in each one, you have to select "edit one". Then click to the next number, where you can edit a single label or card, press SAVE AFTER EACH ONE (JUST IN CASE SOMETHING CRASHES) and then keep clicking to the next number.

I'm very happy with my labels, once I started using Avery Design Online in Chrome.

This should be somewhere in the printing instructions- if it was, I'm sure many more people would be happy and not have to waste precious time, ink or paper trying to get labels to align correctly when printing.

Avery Template #5267 (Laser Printer)

By PEJG

from Chicago, IL

This review is from AVERY What is the best way to print my labels?:

This paticular template WILL NOT line up correctly. I've tried everything I can think of and the print still prints outside th designated labels. I've changed the size, changed the font, I even printed it on an ink jet printer checking to make sure the packaging wasn't incorrect by stating 'Laser'. I've wasted so much paper "testing" the print before I actually feed in the labels.

This is very frustrating from a customer perspective. I've read through other reviews and the merchant responses suggests looking to the 'Help' section. There is nothing there to help with this.

I've used template #5262 for laser printers and have had no issues.

Labels don't line up and using the Chrome brower didn't work

By Lavender Lover

from Illinois

This review is from AVERY What is the best way to print my labels?:

Labels don't line up when printed. There is no way to adjust them because each label on the sheet is off in different ways. I tried using the Chrome browser as suggested and still had the same results. I am leaning toward one review which suggested this is intentional in order to get you to have them print your labels. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

How to Print Individual Labels on Same Sheet

By hbradford

Pros

    Cons

    • Difficult To Use

    Best Uses

This review is from AVERY What is the best way to print my labels?:

After spending more than an hour trying to set up individual labels on same sheet, I learned the only way to delete unwanted information on surrounding labels is to click on "Edit One", move over to the text box and delete information on EACH, INDIVIDUAL LABEL! How dumb and utterly time-consuming. PLEASE FIX THIS PROCESS QUICKLY!

This review is from AVERY What is the best way to print my labels?:

Why offer online help when no one responds in a timely manner? I can't sit and wait over 10 minutes for a response. I had to cut and paste line by line on the labels that I needed. I bought your product because of the online support...and then I couldn't get it...2 days in a row! I had to cut and paste line by line because your "custom" 8195 labels can not be set up by the page even though your button says it can. Really disappointed.

Finally figured out how to fix labels!

          By Lindsey

          from AL

This review is from AVERY What is the best way to print my labels?:

Like so many others I became very frustrated as the labels looked perfect on the preview but were printing not aligned. I finally discovered how to fix the problem. When printing using the online service. After you choose the option to print yourself. Right about print now it says "make printer adjustments". Select this option and you can adjust the labels to your specific printer. It gives specific instructions on how to adjust based on your needs. Hope this helps others because it was a lifesaver for me.
