I wasted hours trying to properly align my label sheets. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get them to print out correctly.

Until....I read another reviewer who said to use CHROME browser instead of Firefox or any other browser. Once I used CHROME, it worked perfectly the first time. So thank you, to that reviewer because I was just about to throw in the towel and give up on my whole project.

Also, for anyone who wants to create labels or business cards with different texts in each one, you have to select "edit one". Then click to the next number, where you can edit a single label or card, press SAVE AFTER EACH ONE (JUST IN CASE SOMETHING CRASHES) and then keep clicking to the next number.

I'm very happy with my labels, once I started using Avery Design Online in Chrome.

This should be somewhere in the printing instructions- if it was, I'm sure many more people would be happy and not have to waste precious time, ink or paper trying to get labels to align correctly when printing.

Impossible to print full sheet of 8195 Avery

By Booker

Pros

    Cons

    • Had To Cut And Paste
    • No Online Help Answered
    • Poor Communication

Why offer online help when no one responds in a timely manner? I can't sit and wait over 10 minutes for a response. I had to cut and paste line by line on the labels that I needed. I bought your product because of the online support...and then I couldn't get it...2 days in a row! I had to cut and paste line by line because your "custom" 8195 labels can not be set up by the page even though your button says it can. Really disappointed.

Finally figured out how to fix labels!

      By Lindsey

Like so many others I became very frustrated as the labels looked perfect on the preview but were printing not aligned. I finally discovered how to fix the problem. When printing using the online service. After you choose the option to print yourself. Right about print now it says "make printer adjustments". Select this option and you can adjust the labels to your specific printer. It gives specific instructions on how to adjust based on your needs. Hope this helps others because it was a lifesaver for me.

I would not recommend this to a friend. I thought printing out labels would be easier than writing them out for my wedding invites, but the template doesn't even match up with the template. #18660. I might as well just write them out by hand, I probably would have gotten them done by now. Ugh.

This review is from AVERY What is the best way to print my labels?:

was trying to use the address labels 18294 with 60 labels per sheet useless can not align the print hardly at all first print i ended up with 20 usable labels tried shifting the print even went so far as to use a ruler to see exactly how much i needed to shift the print. tried again and got even worse results ended up with about 10 usable labels out of the 60 tried adjusting the print again and got 12 usable labels out of the 60 they just print wherever they want putting half of the address on one and the other half on the bottom of the next. will never use again.

Several years enjoyed making hundreds of professional business cards and labels with Avery Design Pro with our Mac operating systems. Then Avery quit supporting newer systems without follow support or notice to those who have been using their project. Left with lots of design hours on the table with no future resolve. Big disappointment. Avery Online Design and Print does not support upload of any .cndx files.
