Printing on both sides of 16280 tabs

By Reba97

from Undisclosed

This review is from AVERY Dividers:

To print on both sides of the tabs and to have the tabs look good for the front and the back:

After downloading the template:

From the View menu choose "Print Layout" ("Normal layout" is confusing). Type in the text that you want for the front part of the labels. Use Print Preview to see how it will look before you print. Save your document. Pencil a mark on the left-hand corner of the 8.5 in section of a plain sheet of paper and insert into the manual feed slot of your printer. The mark is a reminder to you as to how to orient the paper/tab sheet into the printer for predictable results. Place the print-out beneath the 16280 tab sheet--label side up (backing side down) so that you can see where the print ends up (top part of the tab or bottom part?). If you find that the print is in what is supposed to be the clear part of the tab, swivel the 16280 tab sheet 180 degrees and then check to see where the print ends up. It should end up within the body of the tab serving as the front or back of the tab. From there, you can plot the positions you will need to insert more text that will fill the other side of the tab. Create another document with text for the opposite side of the tabs. Practice on plain sheets of paper until you get the desired effect, THEN print your tabs on the tab sheet. I had to create 2 documents, print doc #1, then turn the sheet around and re-insert into the manual feed, then print doc #2. I was not able to get the desired effect using one document, but I did use only 1 tab sheet. I sure would like to know if there is an easier way.

Difficult to Print on back side

By NoWhining

from Undisclosed

This review is from AVERY Dividers:

This product is a great idea - but... there are no instructions with the product how to print on the reverse side of the tab. I tried using 2 of the ideas submitted in the comments section and neither of those worked for me.
AVERY PLEASE POST INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRINTING THE REVERSE SIDE OF THE TABS!!!!!
