I struggled with alignment. After spending a lot of time trying to fix the alignment and determine why the program changed the alignment every time I would proceed to print, I utilized the "Save" button on the Avery toolbar and saved to "My Computer".
I then used the Print buttons in the Avery program. To my suprise, the labels were then in alignment. If this simple step had been included with the instructions, it would have saved me a lot of time.
Once things were in alignment, the labels printed fast and easy. Therefore, I gave this review 5 stars.

The software shows the positions of the images to be printed in the wrong position on the card so when you try to match the card insert positions for the printer to the software, it comes out all wrong, wasting lots of ink and cards. I will never buy this product again and I paid quite a lot for a lot of waste. Disgusted.

Gotta join the obviously growing mob. Grab the torches everybody! This program is very frustrating, mainly regarding alignment issues, as well as clumsy, which also cost me a lot of time and stock. This so-called "Online Design & Print" program should be SCRAPPED until Avery can either do it right or not at all. We expect Avery to represent quality all the way around.

Spent hours doing different choices of cards and they all did the same thing. I noticed that the cards were getting gradually higher towards the bottom of the sheet. Wasted many many of my cards due to the alignment issues. Not worth the frustration and lost time. Would not reccomend or use this site again to make my business cards. The website or template of Averys where the instructions are is also hard to read very tiny print. Will definetly consider the alternative companys to do my business cards from now on.

        Wasted time, labels, ink, effort

        By Frustrated Labeller

This review is from Previewing & Printing Using Avery Design & Print Online:

The label writing software is very awkward to use mand not very versatile. The printing is horrible - the labels print progressively higher with the result that only the top 60% of the labels are useable. The print alignment tool is useless, since it is a progressive "dis-alignment", and though the ti[p mentions calibrating the tool to one's own computer there is no information on how to do that. Pretty sorry software for a label company.

Some of the other reviewers probably had printer issues. Once I had my design planned, which was very easy, I was able to first print out a test sheet, which seemed fine. However, when the first actual business card sheet came out, I noticed that the cards were getting gradually higher towards the bottom of the sheet. It was simply a matter of printing the top three rows, then reversing the sheet and printing the bottom two rows to correct this issue. I did not try using the correction tool. I did note that there was a small area of color swirl on the card that printed in black. I was disappointed in the selection of styles for my profession, which is being an attorney. But I needed an emergency supply of cards due to an . unexpected change of phone numbers, and this was easy, fast, and cost effective.
