I struggled with alignment. After spending a lot of time trying to fix the alignment and determine why the program changed the alignment every time I would proceed to print, I utilized the "Save" button on the Avery toolbar and saved to "My Computer".
I then used the Print buttons in the Avery program. To my suprise, the labels were then in alignment. If this simple step had been included with the instructions, it would have saved me a lot of time.
Once things were in alignment, the labels printed fast and easy. Therefore, I gave this review 5 stars.

The software shows the positions of the images to be printed in the wrong position on the card so when you try to match the card insert positions for the printer to the software, it comes out all wrong, wasting lots of ink and cards. I will never buy this product again and I paid quite a lot for a lot of waste. Disgusted.

TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

By Lorie

from Knox, TN

This review is from Previewing & Printing Using Avery Design & Print Online:

Purchased Avery Postcards 4x6 8386, not cheap. The template was not available under Microsoft templates on mac. You must create an Avery account in order to even open the template. Tried saving file to my computer, but was not compatible (missing a ?). Keep in mind, I'm working on the most current mac computer. After saving and following the steps to print, the photo did not line up to the template printed out. Waste of time and money. THIS IS MY VERY FIRST REVIEW OF ANY PRODUCT, EVER!

What a WASTE!

By Sandra

from Weslaco, TX

This review is from Previewing & Printing Using Avery Design & Print Online:

I really needed these for my home-based business. They were a mess! The alignment is really off. From a sheet of 18, only 6 would come out good, the rest were a mess. I had to cut and trim them just to use them on my project. It created a lot of headaches and stress.

Used up box, never could get alignment right!

    Best Uses

This review is from Previewing & Printing Using Avery Design & Print Online:

I hoped the program would allow printing a few custom cards for special uses. That would be so cool and so useful, to print 1 or 10 cards on demand.
I started chasing the printer alignment and as others have commented it seemed to change every time. I thought I was adjusting from the last saved file, but sometimes it appeared that I was adjusting from the last printed version. So, if "1/8 right" was not enough and I changed it to "1/4 right" it seemed the result was... sometimes... not 1/4 but 3/8th. Sometimes I would get close only to have it to go completely off. No doubt the Avery programmers tear their hair at reading a review like this and could make it work perfectly every time. Well, not me, and I have 25 solid years messing around with this sort of computer issue and it has brought me to my knees. I will use up the box hoping to get 10 usable cards.

      Bad Product

      By Never Again

      from Bay Area

This review is from Previewing & Printing Using Avery Design & Print Online:

I had a horrible time trying to print out Business Cards. Designing was easy but just wasted a lot of time, effort and money attepmting to print out. I would not suggest this product to anyone else, nor would I try their online print system because who knows how those would come out!

Do not purchase Avery Round Labels 22830 or 22807. The template print alignments are all off and hard to adjust. Spent hours trying to adjust the alignments because I needed the product for a rush project to no avail. Avery on-line help directed me to install off-line software. I installed and still no help with the alighment. Avery phone help was well shall we say...no help at all! I guess they just sell more product if it doesn't work and can blame the customer's printer. Never again! I will purchase off-brand products istead.
