Cannot download excel mail merge list file.

By Jack

from Chicago

This review is from Avery Software:

I have tried to download my Excel mail merge list file using Avery Design and Print software, online Avery website, and Online Older Version Avery Software. It worked once with the older version, but I cannot get it to download at all now. The download bar shows 100% complete, but several minutes later, still no download.

I find the use of Avery software frustrating. It wastes much time. The whole point is to save time.

New update: very very slow retrieval of saved projects

By elegy

from Savannah GA

Pros

  • Design Assist Still Good

Cons

  • Unresponsive
  • Very Long Wait For Chat

Best Uses

This review is from Avery Software:

Downloaded newest update into iMac. Everything functions very well except for retrieval of saved documents. Watched little wheel go round and round for over a minute before 5 saved items were retrieved. Tried again and it took two minutes.
Decided to use Contact Us. Went to Live Chat option. Could have gone out for coffee-and; no response after nearly two minutes.
    Not up to previous standard.

    Pros

    • Quality Construction

    Cons

    • Can't Transfer Data
    • Difficult To Set Up
    • Hard To Use
    • Inefficient
    • No Blank Templates
    • Nothing Simple
    • Unreliable

    Best Uses

This review is from Avery Software:

I created a post card and followed the instructionsd for using avery.com/print. The problem is there is nowhere to simply enter the template number. When you find a compatible card, there's no simple blank card. I created the post card with Word, but the data transfer is for some obscure code so it's absolutely useless. Clearly, Avery is setup for the strictly for the highly skilled corporate printer and not the casual user.

      Avery crystal clear labels

      By Trish

      from Australia

This review is from Avery Software:

I have bought Avery crystal clear labels L7126 for which I am unable to find a template. When searching the Avery site there is no match for this code. My print software also does not recognise this code. I am unable to find anything in HELP and the chat site seems to have closed down.
