Not sure what the complaints are about but this is a true template in every sense of the word. It is not a jpeg and does not print. It is simply for adjusting information to fit properly. I've been an Adobe ID user for 11 years now and have used many templates so it may be people who don't have much experience I'm not sure. I use the labels for product UPC codes so I simply lay out 1 labels and use step and repeat to fill in the rest. The numbers for step and repeat are 2.75" horizontal and 1" vertical for those who want to know. Hope this helps.

The InDesign template only has outlines of where the labels are. A true template that is useful and helpful would have had a table or text boxes set up and the frame layer be set to invisible. As this template is built, it is not useful at all.

Avery should also become more Mac friendly. I can't even select mac in the options below to describe what software I am using, etc.

This review is from AVERY Address Label, 30 per sheet:

I was able to make the labels I needed using the online editor, but when I saved it to my computer, I could not transfer it to any of the software available on my computer, meaning I was unable to print it. I tried to use the Google Docs add-on, but you cannot format the text in the same way that you can online. The only available downloadable template is for InDesign. I even ordered the actual labels hoping they would have specific software you could use included in the label packet. Not so. They simply direct you back to the internet to the same worthless software I've been wresting with all week. Unless the moon and stars line up at the perfect time once every millenia, you will never be able to use this product.

Not a good experience. The templates were hard to find. The file is just an blank indesign file with a jpeg embedded. Why bother even showing the different types of files Photoshop/illustrator/Indesign.

        Just a JPEG

        By DDesigner

        from Left Coast

This review is from AVERY Address Label, 30 per sheet:

This is just a jpeg image placed in an InDesign file. You still need to create a table in InDesign. It would have been quicker to just convert the Word version of the template. Waste of time.
