Saw several negative reviews. Here is how you work around the challenges. right click in the cell and go to cell alignment. Click on center top alignment. If the words to be typed are larger than a few characters, hit the space bar until the cursor goes down to the second line. You should be able to use 14 or 16 font so you can read the text if you are old like me.

Good Tabs, but.....

I only have one complaint. If these are 5-tab dividers, then the tabs should come with 10 blank tabs instead of 8. Especially if you only want to use a half sheet....Read complete review

I only have one complaint. If these are 5-tab dividers, then the tabs should come with 10 blank tabs instead of 8. Especially if you only want to use a half sheet. As it is, a half sheet only has four blank tabs.

Lousy template

This review is from AVERY Style Edge Dividers, 5 Tab:

Typed in my labels and hit print. Not even close. I'll hand-print my labels. Not worth the trouble. And I'm pretty tech savvy. Very disappointed I've wasted half of my labels.

Nothing to it! I just downloaded the template, typed in the headings, print. Done in minutes. I have an hp photosmart c410 premium printer, didn't have to make any adjustments.

I am not a guru on the computer, but after a few test prints, it was easy to customize the layout and print the labels I wanted. Just followed the instructions.

Positioning Text & Planning Ahead

By LabelUser100

from Undisclosed

This review is from AVERY Style Edge Dividers, 5 Tab:

POSITIONING TEXT: I noticed that a number of people have commented on the positioning of the text. If you center it in the middle of the label, you may not be able to see it. If you leave it at the top, you may have letters cut off. The following depends on how many words you are using, but I have found a one line text can best be maximized (i.e., the most letters in one line) by going into "Paragraph" in Word and setting the "Spacing Before: at 18. PLANNING AHEAD: the template provides 8 front/back labels. However, in an effort to not waste labels, Avery has perforated the sheet so that it has four labels per section. If you don't think ahead, this can be a problem in a printer. If you have five labels, create them before you tear the sheet in two. Some older printers have a problem dealing with a half sheet of paper, although it seems newer ones can do everything but the dirty dishes in the sink.
