This product was very easy to use to make attractive place cards for my son's rehearsal dinner. Didn't have to worry about proper placement of the printed name. It was automatic! This was the ONE thing about getting ready for the wedding that wasn't stressful! I punched holes in the upper right corner of each card and tied a small bow of narrow ribbon color coded for the appropriate entree selection.

Everyone says it easy but i dont see how easy it is. Im trying to get it to copy paste the templates but it will not do it as a whole, only individually. I need it simple. I should be able to copy paste as many of the templates that I need but im stuck with only 4. Not a good idea for my wedding place card. Not recommended!

Purchased for Wedding Tent/Placecards

This review is from AVERY Small Tent Card, 4 per sheet:

I purchased these ivory tent cards in order to make place cards for my wedding. The material is great. The color (Ivory) is great. But the lack of template is aweful and not user friendly. After discovering that Avery 5913 is not an option in Word, I went back to the website. The website allowed me to download a template (which was great), except the template only allowed for one sheet and I couldn't add additional sheets. I requested a Chat Session with Avery and they suggested I "CLT+A, then CLT+C, then CLT+V", that didn't work. Although the product says compatible with Avery 5302, that didn't work either.
My ultimate solution. I copied the template (Ctrl+A, then Ctrl+C), and pasted it into a new word document, then went to Insert, Blank Page and I now have multiple templates/pages in one document.
I am NOT tech savvy, I am sure Avery can come up with an easier way to do this.

This review is from AVERY Small Tent Card, 4 per sheet:

I downloaded the 5302 tent card template as a .docx Word file and manually inserted default text and my images into the first cell, then copied/pasted into the rest. Then simply changed the text as needed. I did not use the online process nor do enough where I needed to figure out MailMerge. There may be a way to propagate all the material in the first card cell into the others, but I am not yet an expert on all the Word functions.

It clearly shows you the borders within which to place your material and those borders do not print. Unlike some other reviewers, I found no problem in the template being off in any way when printed onto the Avery 5302 tent card stock. Did not matter which end of the paper I inserted first as the cards are centered vertically and horizontally.

Perhaps those with issues are due to the kind of printer used; (I used a Brothers Business Smart Series, MFC-J4710DW.) or, they performed the functions from the website directly.

This review is from AVERY Small Tent Card, 4 per sheet:

So far... My daughter is getting married in October. I don't have much experience with templates etc. Before I purchase the Avery 4 tent cards, I thought I'd give it a try with a practice run on my own. Even for me I found it was easy to navigate thru the process. I saved my work thus far on the Avery website. After I purchase the Avery tent cards and print them from the website I'll be back to share the results. Wish me luck!

Word Template for 5302 Small Tent Cards DOES NOT WORK

This review is from AVERY Small Tent Card, 4 per sheet:

This template simply DOES NOT line up with the Avery Cards. There is too much space at the bottom of the page.

            Set up process

This review is from AVERY Small Tent Card, 4 per sheet:

I will come back and leave more of a full review affter I have the cards themselves to use but right now I wanted to comment on the set up process in case it may help someone. As is commented on Avery site make sure you swicth off the Firefox pop up blocker. My antivirus software also questioned the download but did let it go through eventually. I use Adobe and when I went trhough the directions to open in Adobe it opened in Word...this may be obvious to some and not others...it does not show up in adobe, it is atemplate and so you can create your customized image in Adobe and copy adn paste into a word doc like a business card etc I will post more when I actually do this. This so far is what I have seen so far. So the set up is a bit annoying in certain respects as far as you do need to disable a few things, and figure out a work around which took several minutes... as well as the instructions could be improved for those who are not as familiar with the various programs and how the template actually works etc. Other then that it "appears" to work like any other avery type template, copy and paste and yes you do need to do that individually as far as I can tell....
