Some were very upset about not being able to line up their art or adjusting the margins. DO NOT ADJUST THE MARGINS. Click into one of the card outlines in the grid. Insert your artwork. Select your artwork and go to the Format Image tab. Make sure the wrapping is set to THROUGH. This will allow the photo to free float within the grid, and you'll be able to adjust its position incrementally. Just remember, this is Word. It is not great for fine tuning artwork, but it will do. Once your image is released from text wrapping, you can use your mouse or arrow keys to adjust, or you can use the Align menu to center horizontally or vertically within the margins. Once it is how you like it, you can Copy and Paste to the other spaces in the grid. You will need to do some touch up adjustments, I'm sure.
Following all of those steps, I printed how I would for normal paper and my cards came out great. I did them double sided and had no issues.

If you are trying to do a full-bleed card (printing to the edges), you can resize in Word, or just make your image slightly larger in Illustrator or Photoshop, whichever you used to create your image. Again, you'll likely need to tweak things. Word is simply not meant for imaging and layout, as much as it tries to be. Be patient, there is hope!

I had a temporary business card set up with graphics and printed in about 15 minutes. I'm on a Linux computer running LibreOffice which can utilize Word .doc files just fine. Worked as advertised, NO problems at all. Thank you!!

      the measurements are incorrect.

This review is from AVERY Business Card - Wide, 10 per sheet:

The template does not line up with the actual measurements of the business cards. so when you put your graphic on, and take the cards apart there is a line through your graphic and your design is not centered.

      Your templates are terrible.

      By Lauren

This review is from AVERY Business Card - Wide, 10 per sheet:

Honestly- I've used several templates through Avery and it doesn't seem like any of them actually fit the product when printing. I've been trying to print business cards for about an hour with no luck. Feeling pretty dumb, to be honest, but building my artwork in your template should have avoided that.

Microsoft Word templates do not work!!!

      By Ralph

      from Maryland

This review is from AVERY Business Card - Wide, 10 per sheet:

I have used Avery products in the past (lat time was about 10 years ago) and was looking for an easy way to print to a Business Card template. I used to handwrite these, but thought that there must be an easy way to print them out using word/excel. Even though Avery boasts that they are compatible with MS Word, their templates do not work and do not appear to support MS Word. Why they changed over the last 10 years I have no idea. I will NEVER buy another Avery product again. Looks like I now have to go back and hand-write them on index cards like I use to.
