I was in the process of upgrading my printer, I decided to go and find a printer that would not only support windows 10, but also print on the new printable CD/DVD's.

After purchasing The Epson XP-820 ALL-IN-ONE Printer earlier last year, I finally was able to try out the return address labels that had already been saved by my Microsoft Word 2013.

After an hour of no success on trying everything that I could to get this printer to print the Avery 8167 template, I decided to call the Avery Tech Support. After talking to someone who knew very little English and being patient with him putting me on hold every couple of minutes, he finally comes back on the phone and gives me a bogus answer that some of these printers MIGHT NOT SUPPORT printing out templates.

So, After going to Avery.com and finding that I'm able to Download Generic Templates and then after copying and pasting ALL cells from the address label 8167 to the compatible template, everything worked wonderful.

I have a Win10 computer and use Office 365. I cannot get rid of this horrible software without doing a clean restore of Win8.1 first. I am serious. This is the worst thing in the non-virus category that I have ever made the mistake of downloading. It will not work unless I choose to force my computer to accept a Win7 clean install.

Installing was easy, and it worked once. I printed. I tried to use it again, and it crashed Word. When I reopened Word, almost all my tabs were missing, including Avery. Ridiculous!

People need to know how to read

People are complaining this software doesn't work but if people learn how to read, they will know that they shouldn't give a bad review because it isnt' designed for Office 2016 or 365. In the description for this software it says "If you currently use Office 2016 or you want to try different design solutions from Avery, check out your options at www.avery.com/templates"

I keep getting a message of: The Avery Wizard can only be started from Word. Please run Word first and start the Wizard from the menu or tool bar. Well following the directions is how I got the message.

Why Is Word Wizard software "retiring'?

        By Kooka

        from Brisbane Australia

This review is from Avery Wizard for Microsoft® Office:

As a new user of address labels, it is extremely frustrating to find the only way I can access, and save, my Avery labels is via the website. I have confidential information that I am not permitted to store on-line, no matter how safe Avery deems its site to be. If I save my labels to my computer, they are automatically saved as a PDF file, which I cannot edit. I thought my solution would be to download Avery Wizard, however it is not compatible with Microsoft 16. I am now still searching for a solution.
