I was in the process of upgrading my printer, I decided to go and find a printer that would not only support windows 10, but also print on the new printable CD/DVD's.

After purchasing The Epson XP-820 ALL-IN-ONE Printer earlier last year, I finally was able to try out the return address labels that had already been saved by my Microsoft Word 2013.

After an hour of no success on trying everything that I could to get this printer to print the Avery 8167 template, I decided to call the Avery Tech Support. After talking to someone who knew very little English and being patient with him putting me on hold every couple of minutes, he finally comes back on the phone and gives me a bogus answer that some of these printers MIGHT NOT SUPPORT printing out templates.

So, After going to Avery.com and finding that I'm able to Download Generic Templates and then after copying and pasting ALL cells from the address label 8167 to the compatible template, everything worked wonderful.

I have a Win10 computer and use Office 365. I cannot get rid of this horrible software without doing a clean restore of Win8.1 first. I am serious. This is the worst thing in the non-virus category that I have ever made the mistake of downloading. It will not work unless I choose to force my computer to accept a Win7 clean install.

So disappointed in Avery

By Beadfan

from Green Valley, AZ

This review is from Avery Wizard for Microsoft® Office:

I have boxes and boxes of Avery labels and have used the wizard for my clients, for my own two businesses. Can't believe you are not updating for Windows 10 and Office 2016. I downloaded the Avery Design and Print and found it unwieldy and irritating to use. Guess I will be printing labels with my Brother P-touch machines from no on.

The label wasn't in my available templates. Avery website made it pretty dang simple (for a not so techy gal) to be able to do what I had been stressing about doing. Thanks!

      Avery Wizard

To those have used this program over the years, as
I have it has served me well. After perusing the other available software on this site. I came across a similar program that is incorporated in
the Office Publisher software feature. What the Wizard has done in Word now is relocated in Publisher. I looked though the software, it also has a capability to import whatever is started in Word to add finishing touches in Publisher. We also have to advance along with the technology.
Never give up the chance learn everyday.
