UPC-A codes are wrong on Avery- Do not use!

By Rick

from Faribault, MN

Verified Reviewer

This review is from AVERY How to Create Your Own Barcodes:

UPC-A codes write incorrectly. first number should be printed outside the bar code area as well as the check number. Instead the Avery software prints 0 for them and puts all numbers in coding. Can find no way to correct this. Waiting many times for chat line with no response and no way to send Avery emails. Hope they fix this. I use other labels with no problems.

Limited options

By Jessica

from Iowa City, Iowa

This review is from AVERY How to Create Your Own Barcodes:

This only gives you the option to add 1 barcode per sheet of 80 stickers (8167), not 80 different barcodes. I contacted customer service and asked if there was a better way to do it and they didn't even know that you could make bar codes with Avery, so less than helpful.

This review is from AVERY How to Create Your Own Barcodes:

Overall i'm pretty happy with this feature. I needed to create fast bar codes for products using a 5267 templates. Some issues that I had were: it didn't always print within margin (the bottom portion of the sheet was ALWAYS perfect as the top wasn't) Also I needed to put a product name above the code and sometimes there wasn't enough room because you can't resize the bar code. Other than that worked pretty good for me.

By Des

This review is from AVERY How to Create Your Own Barcodes:

The is no chance to create a QR code neither in Windows software nor online, because online tool won't find L7120 template and software won't work with QR code.

This application works extremely well. Just wish I could download it to use on my PC. Can't find one that works as easily as this one that is downloadable.
